Our story
Rogaland Toastmasters Club was founded in 2024 by a small group of professionals in Stavanger who wanted a friendly, structured place to practise public speaking and leadership — in English, with colleagues from across the region's industries.
Today we're a growing community that meets bi-weekly at Sandnes Library. We're part of Toastmasters International, a worldwide non-profit that has helped people become better communicators for over 100 years.

How a typical meeting runs
Two focused hours, always the same friendly rhythm.

Welcome & introductions
The Toastmaster of the evening opens the meeting and introduces the theme.

Table Topics
Short 1–2 minute impromptu speeches on surprise prompts. Guests are invited but never required to speak.

Prepared speeches
Members deliver 5–7 minute speeches from their Pathways learning projects.

Evaluations & feedback
Every speaker receives a supportive, structured evaluation focused on growth.
